Performance
ScyllaDB achieves higher performance at scale using drastically fewer nodes, with far less administration and lower infrastructure costs vs managed Apache Cassandra.
Cost
ScyllaDB p95 latency is one-third that of Amazon DynamoDB. Our prices are even lower — as much as one-fifth what you’d pay for the same workload on DynamoDB.and no code changes.
Scale
Modern NoSQL architecture delivers 20X better price/performance with 68X lower latency.

ScyllaDB p95 latency is one-third that of Amazon DynamoDB. Our prices are even lower — as much as one-fifth what you’d pay for the same workload on DynamoDB.and no code changes.
Dedicated threads, NUMA awareness, and lock-free execution linearly scales resources.
Leverages Seastar as an underlying EDA to bypass kernel bottlenecks, reducing blocking operations.
Efficient compaction and repair ensures data integrity without short-changing user storage.
Eliminates the need for external caching, integrated into ScyllaDB’s shard-per-core design.
No need for external load balancers and routers – even in multi-region/global deployments.
Automation with built-in self service adjustments for monitoring and management.
ScyllaDB Cloud is the fully-managed DBaaS version of ScyllaDB, providing 24×7 management and monitoring for critical production workloads. ScyllaDB X Cloud is the next-generation offering, built on ScyllaDB tablets and designed for maximum elasticity. It enables clusters to scale rapidly in response to changing workloads while maintaining predictable low latencies.
ScyllaDB Cloud manages everything – from infrastructure (VPC and instance deployment and management) to handling hardware failures automatically, with no impact on availability. It also manages TLS certificates, VPC peering, IP-based ACLs, and cluster scaling – ensuring your database stays secure, resilient, and highly available.
The first step is to register or an account. Once you’ve logged in to your account, create a Free Trial cluster and connect your app to ScyllaDB Cloud using the programming language of your choice. You get one free trial per account.
Deployment is supported in the majority of AWS and GCP regions that are commercially available, except for restricted locations like China.
ScyllaDB Cloud clusters run within dedicated, isolated environments, including dedicated resources such as virtual private service (VPS), VMs for the ScyllaDB database as well as VMs for ScyllaDB Monitoring and ScyllaDB Manager servers. Inter-cluster access is not permitted. The data plane is fully isolated from the control plane. Customer data is limited to the ScyllaDB cluster. The control plane does not store, query, or access customer data. To learn more about ScyllaDB security, see the Trust Center.
ScyllaDB Cloud operates under specific SLAs and commitments to its customers. This commitment is used to guide ScyllaDB Cloud in designing, deploying, and maintaining your cluster, and securing its privacy and availability. SLAs vary depending on the Care Package chosen for the contract.
