ScyllaDB Cloud Updates for May 2019

Introducing ScyllaDB Cloud

ScyllaDB Cloud is a fully managed Database as a Service (DBaaS) from ScyllaDB. ScyllaDB Cloud (NoSQL DBaaS) runs on Amazon Web Services (AWS) I3 instances which, when coupled with the performance of ScyllaDB Enterprise, enables scalable and performant real-time applications. ScyllaDB Enterprise is a NoSQL database API compatible with Apache Cassandra, but delivers up to 10X the performance of other Cassandra implementations.

New Features

ScyllaDB Cloud is continuously enhanced with new capabilities. In this May 2019 update, ScyllaDB Cloud now includes the following features:

  • Two Factor Authentication (2FA) – You can enable 2FA on your ScyllaDB Cloud account by selecting Account Settings (in the upper right of your screen) and then

TWO FACTOR AUTHENTICATION

Note that the Google Authenticator app is required at this time.
