ScyllaDB Course Completion & Promotional Giveaway Terms & Conditions

The following terms apply to participants in ScyllaDB educational courses who may be eligible to receive promotional items (“Giveaways”, “Swag”) and/or digital certificates upon course completion. By enrolling in a course, participants acknowledge and accept these terms.

1. Certificate Issuance
   1. Completion of a course does not guarantee the issuance of a certificate.
   2. ScyllaDB may choose not to provide a certificate, even if all course requirements have been met.
2. Course Completion Requirements
   1. Completion of a ScyllaDB course does not guarantee the issuance of a certificate.
   2. ScyllaDB reserves the right to withhold certificates at its sole discretion, regardless of course performance or completion status.
3. Promotional Giveaway Eligibility
   1. ScyllaDB reserves the right to determine the type, quantity, and eligibility criteria for any promotional Giveaway or giveaways. Giveaway distribution is not guaranteed and is subject to availability, participant engagement, and ScyllaDB’s discretion. Repeated participation or prior receipt of Giveaway may affect eligibility for future distributions.
   2. Giveaway is limited to one item per participant.
   3. Eligibility is restricted to one participant per email domain, regardless of the number of courses completed.
   4. Any participant found using multiple email addresses to claim Giveaway will be permanently disqualified from receiving Giveaway, now or in the future, without prior notice.
   5. Participants who have opted out of receiving ScyllaDB communications are not eligible to receive giveaways.
   6. ScyllaDB is not responsible for missed, filtered, or unread emails containing giveaway-related links or codes.
   7. Giveaway cannot be exchanged for a gift card or any form of monetary compensation.
4. Shipping Restrictions
   1. Giveaway delivery is limited to certain countries.
   2. ScyllaDB is not obligated to ship Giveaway to participants in locations outside the supported shipping list.
   3. The list of eligible countries is subject to change without prior notice.
   4. The timeline for Giveaway processing and shipment is determined solely at the discretion of ScyllaDB. Fulfillment schedules are subject to change at any time without prior notice.
5. Promo Code Validity
   1. Any promotional code issued (e.g., for Giveaway) is valid for 14 days from the date of issuance.
   2. A gift card is valid for three days only from the date it was sent.
   3. Expired codes will not be reissued or extended.
6. Email Delivery Responsibility
   1. ScyllaDB is not responsible if the email containing the code or Giveaway link is filtered into spam, overlooked, or otherwise not seen by the participant.
7. Changes to Terms
   1. ScyllaDB reserves the right to change, update, or cancel these terms at any time without prior notice.
