We usually think of workflows as centralized–there’s a big central orchestrator telling different workers what to do. But what if they could be decentralized instead? It's a simpler architecture, but it's hard to do right--servers need to cooperate to efficiently schedule and execute workflows, but they can’t directly communicate with each other.
