ScyllaDB Enterprise 2021.1.11

The ScyllaDB team announces ScyllaDB Enterprise 2021.1.11, a bug-fix production-ready Scylla Enterprise patch release for ScyllaDB Enterprise 2021.1. ScyllaDB Enterprise customers are encouraged to upgrade to ScyllaDB Enterprise 2021.1.11 in coordination with the ScyllaDB support team.

ScyllaDB Enterprise 2021.1.11 brings focus on bug fixes and stabilization.

  • Stability: database::drop_column_family(): has a window where new queries can be created for the dropped cf #10450
  • UX: Unreadable error response in a large partition test case #5610
  • Prepared statements cache: Batch statements don’t get invalidated when it appears that they should. #10129
  • Stability: chunked_vector crashes in certain cases if reserve() is called twice without the reservation being consumed. Found during code review, no user impact. #10363
  • Tooling: nodetool complains about malformed ipv6 addresses #10442
  • CDC: dropping a column from the base table does not update system_schema.dropped_columns for the CDC log table, preventing queries from CDC log sstables which contain this column #10473
  • Stability: a wrong auth opcode, for example, a driver bug, might crashes node #10487
