Technical Support Engineer

Poland OR Israel · Full-time

About The Position

Do you enjoy helping people understand their new gadgets and make the most of them? Do you want a job that is technically challenging but involves working closely with people? 

Do you love learning software products and using cutting-edge technology to conquer challenges every day?

ScyllaDB Technical Support Engineers use their exceptional problem-solving and customer service skills, to assist customers and solve their Scylla issues.

We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer based preferably in Poland or Israel.


Cool things you'll do:

  • You'll be working alongside our largest customers, solving their complex issues - resolving questions on architecture, recovery, security, performance, and everything in between.
  • You'll be an expert resource on best practices in running Scylla at scale, whatever that scale may be. 
  • You'll be an advocate for our customers' needs - interfacing with our product management and development teams on their behalf.
  • You will also help build the Knowledge Base around Scylla.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in a Technical Support Engineer position
  • Strong English communications skills - written and verbal
  • Customer-facing experience.
  • Experience with Linux environment.
  • Naturally curious and excited to learn new technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in technology fields (Computer Science, Engineering).
