Sales Operations Manager


About The Position

We seek a talented, high performing and high energy Sales Operations Manager who will be responsible for strategically driving sales efficiency - working closely with the VP of Sales - formulating and executing a sales operations strategy that results in faster sales cycles, leading to new customer acquisition and increased revenue velocity for ScyllaDB. 

Your Responsibilities

  • Track sales data in SFDC including historical results, current performance and expected results in the forecast.
  • Liaison with Finance and Sales for quota and territory definition and management.
  • Work with the VP of Sales to monitor and maintain good sales hygiene as it relates to CRM processes and usage.
  • Work closely with the sales teams (account executives and SDRs) to increase productivity by reducing bottlenecks, simplifying processes and implementing appropriate technologies and training.
  • Create and maintain documentation on sales processes.
  • Assist with on-boarding new sales reps.
  • Support executive team through managing metrics and analytics programs to ensure accurate data driven decision making outcomes.
  • Data driven research initiatives for sales process optimizations, measurement team efficiency, measure the effectiveness of campaigns and individuals.


  • 5+ years experience in a Sales Operations role in a high-growth, startup environment. An understanding of B2B sales in the big data and database markets is a plus.
  • Expertise and business acumen in developing initiatives and implementing sales processes with an understanding of key metrics and measurements.
  • Driven, possessing a strong desire to grow and learn as a key strategy to maintain that high-level of success - open to feedback and coaching as you hold yourself accountable.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills as well as an attention to detail necessary to support data-driven decision making, including aptitude with spreadsheets, reporting and analytics and databases/datawarehouses.
  • Highly experienced in Salesforce (SFDC), as well as familiarity with other platforms in the B2B sales tech stack (Outreach, DiscoverOrg, Duxsoup, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.)
  • Innate curiosity and strong problem solving skills.
  • Highly collaborative, proven ability to work with Marketing, Finance and Product teams.
  • Strong program and project management capabilities.
  • Driven and self-starting, able to work autonomously and to conscientiously follow up and deliver on projects.
