Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers working on the ScyllaDB Kubernetes Operator, ensuring high-quality deliverables and efficient development processes.
- Design and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable Kubernetes Operators using Golang, enhancing the automation and management of Scylla clusters.
- Drive technical discussions and decisions, collaborating closely with product management, QA, and DevOps teams to align features with business needs.
- Own the full lifecycle of Operator development, from design and implementation to deployment, monitoring, and support in production.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks, bugs, and performance issues in distributed systems and cloud-native environments.
- Stay updated on the latest Kubernetes developments and incorporate relevant improvements into the ScyllaDB Operator.
- Promote knowledge sharing within the team through documentation, code reviews, and training sessions.
