Talent Acquisition Specialist- USA


About The Position

ScyllaDB a global company that develops open-source real-time, big data database is looking for a talent acquisition specialist.

The position is based in USA (remote position) but is part of the HR team that is based in Israel.

The talent acquisition specialist role is to help the HR team efforts to find talented candidates and build our global organization.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Taking part in the hiring process for company open positions. 
  • Being able to understand the necessary skills and requirements to effectively identify, recruit and hire the best talented candidates.
  • Working with the hiring managers in order to be able and answer the above.
  • Local recruitment with an option for Global recruitment
  • Reviewing and screening CV's on a daily basis
  • Conducting in-depth phone interviews
  • Implementing and utilizing effective sourcing tools and advertising on social networks to attract highly qualified candidates.
  • Keep candidates up-to-date and informed throughout the hiring process
  • Working with a recruitment system - Comeet



  • At least 3 years of experience as a recruiter for Hi-tech companies.
  • Proven recruiting experience in the sales and marketing industry
  • Experience in recruiting for technology positions
  • Proven sourcing skills
  • Experience working with Social Media platforms (such as LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub and more).
  • Great interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong team player, positive and can-do approach.
  • Able to follow up and get things done in a fast-moving and changing environment.
  • Independent and able to juggle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Creativity and quick learning ability


Good to have:

  • Prior experience in remote work
  • Prior experience working in a startup company
