About The Position

ScyllaDB Field Engineers are an advanced team who respond to an escalation in the three stages of customer engagement: before engagement happens by generating marketing and sales collateral like benchmarks and educational articles and content; in the pre-sales process by ensuring that proofs-of-concept are successful; and in the post-sales process handling challenging customer issues when escalation is required.


We are looking for a qualified Junior DevOps Engineer who will be responsible for managing Field Cloud clusters which includes provisioning new Scylla nodes, monitoring and maintaining existing ones.

  • Student or Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering/Computer Science
  • Quick Learner, passion for challenge, and for cutting edge technologies.
  • Basic experience in at least one of the following: IT support/ Build, deployment technologies, and CI/CD pipeline or similar.
  • Good communication skills and Service orientation.
  • Experience with scripting/automation


  • Familiarity with Ansible and/or Jenkins.
  • Any DevOp experience with Cassandra/Scylla.
  • Any DevOp experience with any other distributed DB.
  • Some Python coding
