About The Position

We’re seeking an experienced specialist who can build upon this good reputation with an unwavering commitment to meticulous production and caring for our customers.

The ideal candidate is an exceptionally organized, methodical professional who has the experience necessary to take our products to the next level in usability, performance, and stability.

The specialist will be charged with developing new tools that improve our user facing teams productivity.

He/she will also engage in resolving complex customers' issues and serve as a bridge between our user facing and engineering teams.


Responsibilities:

  • Build, release and maintain code.
  • Collaborate effectively with a team of engineers.
  • Working closely with customers and user facing teams.
  • Acquire deep knowledge about ScyllaDB products and be able to apply it when resolving challenging customers' issues.
  • Identify training needs and take action to ensure user facing teams members proficiency.
  • Pursue continuing education in new solutions, technologies, and skills.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Superb computer skills, including database management
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in best practices for debugging, testing, and defect management


Preferred skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in relevant field
  • Fluency in one or more programming languages or automations: Python, C++, Ansible
