Job Description

ScyllaDB is seeking a high-performing Enterprise Account Executive in the New York City Metropolitan Area to help us build our repeatable sales machine. You will be responsible for formulating and executing a sales strategy within an assigned territory that results in revenue growth and new account acquisition. You will collaborate with Sales Engineers to prepare account strategies and plans and constantly initiate new contacts through networking, email campaigns, and cold-calling to increase our client base.


  • Prospect, identify, qualify and develop your sales funnel
  • Create proposals and close business to exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual quotas
  • Build strong and effective relationships with your current clients and prospects
  • Work with Marketing to conduct seminars, trade shows, and other marketing related activities


  • Excellent communication and presentation skills among a variety of audiences
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5+ years experience in Enterprise Software: Database, Big Data, Analytics/Business Intelligence, Applications, Data Warehouse or Cloud providers
  • Strong knowledge of your territory and relationships with decision makers responsible for application development
