Sales director

Job Description

ScyllaDB is seeking a high-performing Sales Director to help us build our repeatable sales machine. You will be responsible for meeting the sales targets within your regions, manage
sales organizations and expand the customer base. You will work with the marketing, business development and product units in order to achieve synergy across the business unit.

Responsibilities

  • Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts.
  • Build and nurture the sales pipeline and actively conduct project future revenues
  • Manage and hire sales personal, build a strong cohesive sales team
  • Layout sales procedures and methods and train new sales personal
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
  • Understand category-specific landscapes and trends, reporting on the forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts

Inside sales representative

Job Description

ScyllaDB is seeking an experienced inside sales representative for our technically advanced product. You have the ability to navigate customer organizations effectively, from the individual stakeholder up through the VP, as part of the sales cycle from the initial call to closing. You will be responsible for qualifying and closing accounts ranging from startup to enterprise, and work with our extended, global team of experts including account managers, systems engineers, and solution architects.

Requirements

  • 3-5 Years inside sales experience in enterprise software sales
  • Work to achieve (and exceed) monthly, quarterly and annual revenue commitments while maintaining customer satisfaction
  • Ability to make 75 to 100 calls a day with the ability to qualify
  • Engage with prospects both inbound and outbound via telephone
  • Create an accurate sales forecast and define the resources required to achieve this commitment
  • Ability to deliver presentations to a broad number of constituents including customers (business and technical individuals), management, etc.
  • Experience with open source is a plus
  • Experience with databases or middleware is a plus

  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and service security.

QA automation developer

We are seeking an experienced, remarkable automation person, with the ability to hook into a development project and manage test automation for it.

  • Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages is important.
  • Obsessed with automation
  • Experience with continuous integration is important.
  • Open source experience is an advantage, and public GitHub repositories are welcome.
  • Performance regression automation experience is an advantage too.
  • Experience running devops jobs, NoSQL databases, and application servers, is a plus.
