ScyllaDB release: version 1.5 RC3

The ScyllaDB team is pleased to announce ScyllaDB 1.5 RC3, the third Release Candidate, out of 3 planned, toward ScyllaDB 1.5.
ScyllaDB is an open source, Apache-Cassandra-compatible NoSQL database, with superior performance and consistently low latency.

Find ScyllaDB 1.5 repository for your Linux distro here. Use with caution, RC3 is not officially production-ready yet.
Help us stabilize 1.5 by reporting bugs here

ScyllaDB 1.5 focused on stability, bug fix and workload conditioning.

The following bugs are fixed since RC2:

  • Wrong memtable flushing criteria and timing may hurt ScyllaDB performance under pressure #1918, #1919
  • ScyllaDB may exit on the init phase when reading unrecognized sstable component #1922
